The Brick House JR PRO is not a toy paddle. It has been specifically designed to instill the love of pickleball in young players aged 8ish and under. 

We’ve seen it so many times where a younger player wants to play but the paddle is too big and their results are dismal. The attention starts to drift and before you know it the paddle is back on the bench and they are off to something else. Nothing is worse for a younger player than not being able to do what the big kids do.

You wouldn’t give a 6 year old a full size golf club and expect them to drive a ball. Why would you give them a full size paddle and expect them to hit a ball?

We originally designed this paddle for a friend’s 6 year-old son, who really wanted to play but only had a regular paddle. He was about to give up on the idea until we handed him the JR Pro. All I can say is ‘Game On.’ It worked perfectly. Our friend continues to share his passion for pickleball with his children. The son now plays a Brick House 74 and the Jr Pro was passed along to his 5 year old daughter. 

The focus of the JR PRO is to make the paddle easy to handle from the start, build confidence with every shot and to instill a true passion for the game.
