Love this paddle. Not only does it look amazing, it plays extremely well. I also have a Heritage 74 that I love, but this is definitely a step up. Worth the extra money in my opinion. Thanks Brick House.

I’ve had a couple of chances to play my new EXCELSIOR 94 in the last couple of days. The transition from my HERITAGE 74T was smooth because both paddles are products that reflect the engineering excellence and attention to detail from BRICK*HOUSE. Smooth is also a very accurate description for how they both play – from the comfortable grip to the solid feel when ball contact is made!
So why bother with the E 94?
For me, it takes all of the best qualities of the H 74T and improves them . . . the “sweet spot” seems larger despite the fact that the profile of both paddles seem to be identical . . . the contact surface seems smooth, but the finish technology allow for more spin with less work . . . and one other thing – it plays so well that it makes you more relaxed and confident that you can make any shot

I just got the Excelsior 94T. While I still need to play more hours to get the feel for it, the initial test points to a really good paddle.
From my experience with the Brick House Paddles and Chris, I can attest to two aspects: the exceptional craftsmanship of the paddles and outstanding service quality.
All in all, you can’t go wrong with any of their paddles. You just need to analyse your game and decide what’s important to you (no paddle will offer you all the features).

I have gone through several paddles over the last two years (both power and control types), but when the texture on my last Kevlar paddle wore down to smooth I decided on a lark to try a Brick House. To be honest, that was mostly because I love the retro wood look. Customer service and follow-up was great, and I got the paddle in the mail really soon after ordering. Paddle construction quality is excellent. Having now played with it several times, I would say it’s a really good paddle but doesn’t perform quite as well as the most expensive out there. The power is good and ground strokes/put-aways feel solid. Love that. Not a lot of “pop” on volleys, but I generate plenty of power on my own so not a problem at all. Spin potential is probably a 6 out of 10 comparing it to really high-end paddles, but honestly that’s better than I was expecting given the epoxy finish (which feels smooth to the touch). Touch and feel in the soft game is probably also a 6 out of 10 – better than a typical power paddle but not as forgiving as say a control paddle like the Selkirk Luxx. All that said, it’s a MAJOR conversation starter because of the hickory wood face – so style points there! – and I am really enjoying playing with it overall. I play with / against 3.5-4.5 players, and they have gone from skeptical upon first seeing it to admitting the paddle actually plays pretty well. Count me as a fan of the Excelsior 94T!

I am and well seasoned advanced pickleball player, who is addicted to the game. I had been playing with a Selkirk paddle for the last two years, and it was a pretty good paddle, however, I was looking for a replacement. I searched the internet to try and find a
Canadian manufacturer, and found Brick House Paddles. I read reviews and paddle specifications and although I was a bit hesitant I decided to give one of their paddles a try, specifically an Excelsior 94T. From the moment I picked it up I could tell I was holding a quality paddle. The handle is very comfortable with a “grippy” feel, I bounced a ball off of it a few times and it felt very solid. I finally got to play with it the next morning, and I must say I was very impressed, I had much better dinking control, and more power on my drives and smashes. I was able to apply spin to the ball with ease. I have much more confidence in all my shots with this paddle, for me the handle shape which is less hexagonal helps with ball placement. I mostly play bucket play in a fairly large group and many of the people I play with noticed the improvement in my game, and have become very interested in this paddle. I now have about twelve hours of play with this paddle and my opinion of it has only gotten better. I can’t speak for every model of Brick House paddle but I would recommend the Excelsior 94T to anyone looking to up their game, be not afraid, this is quality stick.
