I’m cool also with Big companies with small company values and old school values. When I spoke to the owner, Chris Evans, we connected with similar old school beliefs and values and quality standards. However I believe the products must match and do something different and reflect that of the company and owner. In this case, It surely does. Chris Evans sent me his demo paddles and I tried them. I also handed them out to a few people to try and play with. Some liked it and some didn’t but one consistent comment was, it’s different with the real wood veneers and thick core and softer sounds. The quality of assembly seems really good but only time will tell. From the many paddles out there that I’ve been exposed to, it looks like it stands up the the top quality materials out there. The different surface of Canadian ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆAsh and Cherry wood veneers that is so typically Canadian๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ. Love the workmanship ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿงก๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ“ The pricing for these paddles are fair value and compared to $360cdn some Canadians have been paying for paddles these days. Brick*House high quality Paddles are ranging from $139-149Cdn. Wow, right?!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎThose who like quieter paddles with luxurious feel like a Cadillac or Lexus, with softer rides and comfort, this paddle might be what you’re looking for. It’s unfortunate that it comes only in one shape, but it’s a shape that is most common (close to like Selkirk Epic or Players Pickleball Rogue2 Q) Many recreational players will enjoy this paddle and if any tournament players like them, rest assured, they’re USAPA Approved paddles for tournament use. Many clubs and neighborhoods courts are requesting quieter paddles, these paddles might be the paddles of choice. Also these paddles are a work of art, and those who appreciate woodwork would enjoy having these paddles in your collection. Do I like them? I do like the feel. But the shape is not what I am used to. Brickhouse will come out with something lighter and longer down the road. (Read the specs on these paddles on their website) https://brickhousepaddles.com/. I might enjoy their future longer shapes better. So please stay tuned when Chris Evans sends me his future new creations. I hope this review was helpful to you but don’t just take my word for it. Try them out yourselves. Thank you Chris Evans for letting me try your amazing creations. Try them for yourselves and verify if my review is accurate and if you like them or love them.Thank you for reading and if you have any questions, you can contact them at Brick*House Paddles, Box 2295.
